Spottie ABC 172049

Pedigree

March 2008: Spottie is still going strong at 10 years old.
She's placed in nearly every trial this past year (over a dozen times),
winning the OVSDA trial in June 2007 and
the Edgeworth Open SDT in January 2008.
Her 4 year old son Zac (Spottie x Nancy Schreeder's Link)
is doing extremely well in the Open class
as well, placing nearly every time he's run.
Spottie has been a consistent, winning trial dog and now her legacy will continue with Zac.
I plan to continue running her through 2008 as she's not showing any signs of slowing down yet.

  Previous updates:

Summer, 2001: Spottie came to join the Shoofly team in January of 2001.  And what a nice addition!  Spottie is sweet, loving, loyal, bright and about the most honest dog you'll ever meet.  She wants so much to be right and to do a good job.  The phrase "an honest dog" is an easy one to throw around and one I hear used too often and too easily but it's Spottie to a tee.  And what a happy, funny creature she is.  Some dogs love to make us laugh and Spottie is definitely one of those.  She's a real joy to have around and she excels at real work around the farm.  After spending the winter getting ready for trials, Spottie ran very well in Ranch at the Seclusival trial in May and made a very respectable debut in Open at Ben Ousley's trial in June, finishing not far out of the money.  As she gains experience I expect she will do very well in Open.

November 2003:  Spottie has turned into a classy and dependable Open dog with many placements in the Open class.  She won the Woodland Brook Challenge in March of 2003 and The Chesapeake SDTin November.  She has been Reserve Champion at the Cheasapeake trial the past 2 years.

March 2006:  Spottie is a real joy and just gets better and better at the trials.  She's so easy and relaxing to run, and is always a threat to place at any trial.  She's won several Open trials in her career, most recently the FrontRunner Farm trial this month. Her pups (May 2004) have turned out to be really nice and natural dogs, and all 8 are good workers.  I kept her son Zac and he's starting to trial now in the PN class, and placing about every time he runs.  He'll be starting to run Nursery at his next trial.
