This is what the farm looked like from the top of the barn in the Spring of 1998 (that's a truck sitting there to the right). We're constantly changing and shaping the field, fencing and cutting down trees, building this and that. The treeline at the top of the picture is actually inside our fenced pasture and we're presently doing a drastic thinning of the trees to allow for more grass. We're also in the process of fencing a few acres beyond the view of this picture, at the top of the hill. All told, we have about 20 acres of pasture and woods to play around with. |
