March 2008: Gael is 8 years old and mostly retired from sheepdog trials now. She's just too much dog for most trials and gets very nervy and worked up in trial situations. Now if you have a bull elephant that needs moved, Gael's your dog! A stylish, powerful bitch with tremendous precision to her work, Gael can take your breath away in her beauty behind sheep. She's still the go-to dog around the farm during lambing if a ewe decides to get nasty. No one bosses Gael around for long!
